Our Writers’ workshops

Working on a book? Or think you would like to? Joining our writer's group or coming to one of our weekend masterclasses in Dorset, will provide you with the space, guidance and encouragement to start writing or take your book to the next level - plus time to relax, write and meet kindred spirits.

We like to keep everything small and personal so that you can get the most out of the experience, but this does mean Masterclasses fill up quickly. Sign up for our mailing list in order to be informed as soon as the new schedule is released, and book soon to reserve your space.

Supporting us on our next Masterclasses are writer/lecturer Emma Scattergood, authors Simon Hall and Adrienne Dines and literary agent Madeleine Milburn.

Welcome to Space to Write! Our aim is to provide you with the perfect combination of peace, expert advice and cake – all you need to make your writing really shine! Join our writer's group, which meets on the first Sunday of every month, and rub shoulders with like-minded souls, get feedback on your work and escape from the distractions of every day life (ie no phones or internet). PLEASE NOTE, THESE ARE NOT CURRENTLY RUNNING. Also, look out for our upcoming weekend masterclasses with guest authors. These will also be run near Christchurch, with fabulous classes from our brilliant authors - carefully selected for their ability to teach as well as write! Sign up for our newsletter so you don’t miss out. Check out our Course and retreats in Dorset. We hope to see you soon.
